Dramatic cliffs embrace the great expanse of pink sand and bright turquoise waters offering guests a compelling view in a private, intimate setting. The name Crane Beach was coined two centuries ago when the formation of a protective coral reef allowed small ships to sail safely in and out of the natural harbor, leading to the development of a small commercial port. Adjacent to the resort, where Cliff House stands, was the crane used for raising and lowering cargo, thus, the name Crane Beach was adopted.Today, after an ambitious refurbishment and further expansion, this unique hotel's commitment to history and local resources have paved the way for its move into the 21st century without spoiling its historic ambience. The original 18 rooms served asTo read this entire feature FREE with photos cut and paste this link:http://www.jetsettersmagazine.com/archive/jetezine/globe02/Carib02/barbados/luxury/luxury2.html, Jetsetters Magazine Correspondent ?

As you begin to tune into the world of energy, there are times when you may experience what appear to be false alarms. For example you may have a worrisome feeling and yet it turns out that everything is just fine. Does that mean that your intuition isn't reliable. Not necessarily. When it comes to intuition, being .right.

shouldn't be your absolute goal. Especially when you just beginning to become more sensitive to energy. Accurately picking up on energy is a refined skill that develops with lots of practice and lots of errors if you are to become good at it. And besides, if you pick up troubling vibes, you may tuning into a precarious moment where real danger or imbalance does exist ,but the situation may right itself somehow before it becomes evolves into a real problem. After all energy is not fixed, but always in a state of motion.

A client of mine told me about her experience with her daughter. Janice, the very intuitive and aware mother of a 17-year-old daughter named Lisa, offered to chaperone Lisa and her girlfriends on a spring break trip to Cancun. Wanting to give her daughter .space. while still being present, Janice stayed in a separate room during the five days they would be there. One morning, Lisa told her mother that she and her friends were going to the beach, and they agreed to meet at 5:00 for dinner.

All day long Janice had a terrible feeling around her daughter's vibration. She felt that her daughter was not okay. This feeling fluctuated from mild worry to moments of real psychic upset. .What s going on with Lisa?. she asked herself, certain something was off.

Finally she calmed down, surrounded Lisa with white light and gradually the anxiety passed. Finally 5:00 rolled around and Janice called her daughter's room." Lisa's in the shower,. said Chris, one of Lisa's roommates. .Hold on, I'll see if she's out.. While she was waiting, Janice could hear the girls talking.

and overheard Chris say, .Thank God I stopped Lisa from having sex on the beach today!. Janice almost dropped the phone. .No wonder I was so upset!. Janice thought. .What was Lisa thinking? What were the girls up to?" A moment later Lisa picked up the phone.

.Hi, Mom!. she said, sounding like her usual cheerful self. "Lisa," Janice said containing her righteous indignation and alarm. "I need to talk to you! Please come up to my room right now... Lisa strolled into Janice's room a few minutes later and sat down.

Unable to restrain herself any longer, Janice blurted out, .Lisa, I overheard Chris say that she stopped you from having sex on the beach! Now what on earth were you doing?. Lisa was surprised and puzzled. .I don't know what you're talking about, mom. We were together the whole time. .Lisa, I had terrible vibes about you all afternoon.

There's no point in trying to cover up. I felt you were up to something myself!. Lisa seemed confused for the moment and then burst out laughing. ".I'm sorry, Mom! I just figured it out!. Sex On The Beach is the name of the tequila shooters they were selling at the beach bar, and I was thinking of trying one..

Greatly relieved, even Janice had to laugh. Were Janice's vibes off? I don't think so. A 17-year old girl should not be drinking tequila shooters, much less in a foreign country! Did Janice's prayers and visualizations help? Well, Lisa never did have Sex On The Beach. Picking up vibrations is not about .right or wrong.. It's about tuning into energy in motion, and keeping it balanced..

Our energy is fluid, mobile and alive. It isn't static. It changes with the circumstances. Lisa was temporarily in a position to cause damage to herself, which Janice accurately tuned into. But perhaps it was because of Janice's intuitive feeling and her subsequent prayers that she actually turned the situation around and restored balance.

I believe it was. So don't allow your intellect to get hung up on "being right versus wrong" when it comes to listening to your intuition. Though you may feel and even look foolish at times the benefit you receive in terms of loving guidance and protection is well worth occasionally playing the fool for..

MY NEIGHBOR GOT A NEW CAR I don't know what kind it is, but I saw iton TV running full speed along the shore (I don'tlive near the shore) throwing up spray or maybeit was that one climbing up the steep mountaintrail thru the mud, rocks and snow. Veryexciting. (I don't live near the mountainseither.) WOW! Just what I need. But there are a few obstacles. It costs about $28,000.

(That's close to theaverage annual wage.) I have perfect credit andthey'll give it to me for no money down. All Ihave to do is make the monthly payments for thenext 5 years of only $541. Maybe it won't bethat much because I'll be trading in my car andI have it almost paid for it. I can see me now headed for the beach orclimbing that mountain in that shiny new car. I tell my wife.

She says, "So". I say, "Waddayamean ?so'?" She elaborates that our car is almost paid forand hasn't a scratch on it. It looks like newwhen it is washed and waxed and runs great. Shewhacks me with if I want a different car we canhave this one repainted and put on new slipcovers. The transmission and AC have both beenreplaced and it has less than 100,000 miles onit.

She remembers the engine is rated for200,000 miles and the tires are good for another50,000 miles. How does she recall thosestatistics? I can't win for losing with thiswoman. There is a tone in her voice that I knowmeans finality when she iterates, "You might wanta new car, but we don't need one". My reply is thecar might break down and may cost thousands tofix". Her lightning reply, "Well, it won't cost$28,000 and our insurance bill won't go upeither.

If you want payments you can make anextra mortgage payment each month. Better yetlet's knock down that credit card debt." I hear the air hissing out of my balloon. No beach. No mountains. Forget all that practicalstuff like saving for retirement or having someextra cash put away for emergencies.

Damn. BUT - my neighbor has a new car..

Acapulco has long been a favorite for celebrities such as Liz Taylor, Placido Domingo and Julio Iglesias. Today, the destination offers something for travelers of all budgets and is frequented by visitors simply interested in swimming, shopping, dining or just soaking up the sun against one of the world's most spectacular backdrops.Day 1 - Monday (Lunes)Click For Acapulco City GuideStart off your trip with a walk to the Z?calo and its Mercado de Artesan?as (Crafts Market) and Mercado Municipal. All day the Z?calo is bustling with activity filled with vendors, shoeshine men and people greeting one another.Locals come to these sprawling markets to purchase their everyday needs, from fresh vegetables and candles to love potions. While Acapulco is not known for its indigenous handicrafts, at the crafts market you can test your bargaining skills for Mexican treasures such as enormous sombreros, pi?atas, framed paintings done on velvet of the Virgin of Guadalupe and seashell renderings of the crucifixion.

Fruits can be particularly inexpensive with mangos and bananas for as little as 25 cents a pound. Both markets are open daily.Day 2 - Tuesday (Martes)Driving along the Costera Aleman could be a great option for travelers looking to take in the scenes without taking an expensive tour. From El Fuerte de San Diego, which was originally built to protect Acapulco from pirates, to Cici, a modern-day water-oriented theme park for children, the Costera Aleman provides visitors not only with a spectacular view of the bay but with some of Acapulco's most treasured and low-cost attractions.Cici - A water theme park for children, Cici has dolphin and seal shows, a freshwater pool with wave-making apparatus, a water slide and mini-aquarium. Entrance is $4.Parque Papagayo - Papagayo sits on 52 acres of prime real estate on the Costera. Children enjoy a life-size model of a Spanish galleon, an aviary, a roller-skating rink and a racetrack with child-size racecars.

No entrance fee, rides range from $.70 to $1.80.Casa de la Cultura - A cultural complex houses a small archaeological museum, an exhibit of Mexican and international crafts and the Ixcateopan art gallery. No entrance fee.Day 3 - Wednesday (Miercoles)Wednesday night may be just the evening to take a sunset cruise along Acapulco's breathtaking bay. For about $12, visitors can enjoy a cruise with open bar and live and disco music. A good deal for those on a budget, Bonanza's cruises leave downtown near the z?calo at 4:30 p.m. Sunset cruises are likely one of the best ways to also see the cliff divers.

Many hotels and shops sell the tickets.Day 4 - Thursday (Jueves)A day at the beach is always a day well spent on Mexico's West Coast. For less than a $12 taxi ride or a $.75 bus ride from the city, visitors can find two off-the-beaten-path beaches known as Pie de la Cuesta and the Coyuca lagoon. For the peso equivalent of about $5, visitors can also tour the lagoon in a "lancha" or small motorboat where you can witness fishermen casting their nets, a variety of hidden coves and tiny islands inhabited by a variety of bird species.Another beautiful, less crowded beach is the pristine Puerto Marqu?s. Sheltered within a small bay east of Playa Icacos, it boasts the most tranquil waters in the area, breath-taking sunsets, charming little restaurants that will set up tables, chairs and umbrellas for you and where a shrimp cocktail and a bottle of Corona will cost about $5.Day 5 - ViernesDay trips to the nearby silver city of Taxco could be a great way to save on local wares, which can be hard to come across in Acapulco.Approximately 170 miles north of Acapulco, Taxco, one of Mexico's most picturesque and charming cities, is a relic of its colonial past. An old mining town, Taxco remained isolated for centuries until an American William Spratling fell in love with the town and revived its silver mines.Today, the town of Taxco is littered with silver shops and tourists trying to strike a deal on beautifully designed jewelry and wares.

While shopping in Taxco is not what many would consider "cheap," shoppers definitely find good value for their dollar. Even if you can't afford to shop, a visit to Mexico's most medieval looking city is worth the visit.Day 6 - Saturday (Sabado)A trip to Acapulco isn't complete until you've seen the world-famous divers at La Quebrada. Trained divers plunge 130 feet into a narrow cove of just 11 feet of water, which is safe only when a wave has come in. You can see the dives, while sipping a drink at the Plaza Las Glorias Hotel or watch from a concrete embankment where admission is only $1.25.To read this entire feature FREE with photos cut and paste this link:http://www.jetsettersmagazine.com/archive/jetezine/globe02/Mexico02/aca/beach/beach.html, Jetsetters Magazine Correspondent ?

Modern Vietnam is a nice place to visit.. and you wouldn't mind staying there for a while.Being an American and growing up during the Vietnam War era, I always wanted to see what the post war Vietnam was like now a days. During the Vietnam war I was to young to be drafted but I clearly remember all the hype in the USA over Vietnam and war. I can even remember my older brother actually joined in the anti-war protests and burned his draft card. As luck would have it, one of the companies that I often free lance worked for secured a submarine cable laying project in Vietnam and asked me if I was interested to go there.

Most definitely I wanted to go there. As our plane touched down in the now Ho Chi Minh City, I tried somehow relate back to how the soldiers would have felt when they had landed there in Saigon back during the war. I can tell you this, the feelings they would have had wouldn't have been good at all knowing there's a chance that they could be killed there. While driving from the airport to our hotel I even saw several of those old concrete machinegun bunkers. Even though the war had ended over 20 years ago, it was still clear that Vietnam still had many reminisces of it's war era days. Traffic was chaotic at best. Many intersections didn't have traffic lights and it also seemed that some people drove on whatever side of the street they pleased.

Definitely, anyone from any western country wouldn't want to even attempt to drive a vehicle on the streets of Vietnam. The architecture in Ho Chi Min City is a major reflection of French design with a mixture of Asian influence. The government buildings and churches were all beautifully designed and up kept quite well throughout the city center.Vung TauThe following morning we headed down south to the port town of Vung Tau. Vung Tau is at the entrance to the Saigon river. It is about a 6 hour drive from Ho Chi Min City to Vung Tau. During the Vietnam war the American soldiers used Vung Tau as an R&R area (Rest & Recreation).Since the war ended the Russians have turned Vung Tau into an Offshore Oilfield supply base.

They even have a large compound there where all the Russian's oilfield workers and their families reside. There's also a few bars along the street directly opposite this huge Russian compound. The Russian's visit these bars for drinking, socializing and shooting pool, etc. I would shoot pool there also and I happened to meet a few nice Russians there. They were oilfield workers on their time off. Back to the bars..

there were several bars on the main strip there [which runs along the beach]. Most of the bars also served good western food and had pool tables in them also. Of course there were some beautiful and sexy Vietnam ladies there also.I can't exactly put my finger on it but there's something about Vietnam girls that makes them extra sexy. Almost all of them have the typical long black hair (very long, in fact) and that alone makes any woman sexy in my opinion. But, the Vietnamese ladies have their own special dress, the Vietnamese Long Dress, known locally as the Ao Dai.

It is a one piece dress and the color is usually white. What's really sexy about this dress is the extremely high slit up both sides of it. Wow.. it seems like the slit is going all the way up to and even pass their asses and it makes the ladies look so very sexy when you see them walking or riding their bicycles down the street. To top off their sexiness, they are usually dawning a typical straw coned hat on their pretty little heads while outdoors to protect them from the sun also.

Great combo and when you personally witness it, it would bring the average horny man down to his knees in no time.Jam Packed BeachesOur project was not on the same beach with the rows of bars, but on the other windward side beach. We couldn't work there during the day time on weekends cause the beach was always jam packed with people sunbathing, swimming and having a great time..Unlike so many other Asian countries I've visited where hardly any of the locals seemed to sunbath or even swim at the beach, it seems that the Vietnamese people really do love the beach and sun. On weekends it would get so crowded that you could barely even find a space to sit. Also packing the beaches were the assorted food vendors selling everything from cold drinks to fresh lobster. Beach chairs and large umbrellas were also available for rent there.Unfortunately, all good things come to an end so when we finished that cable laying job I had no reason to hang out in lovely Vung Tau anymore so we packed our bags and headed back north to Ho Chi Minh City.American War Crimes Museum (now the name has been changed to Remnants of War Museum)When I heard about there was a museum in Ho Chi Min called the American War Crimes Museum, of course I had to go to see what it was all about. Well, as you can all imagine just by reading the name of the place I think you already have a pretty good idea as to what to expect there.Inside this museum you will find all kinds of items dating back from the Vietnam war.

Most of the items, if not all, were of American manufacture. Outside of the museum were such large items as tanks, anti-aircraft guns, helicopters and even one or two old American aircraft. There were also numerous smaller items such as a large variety or old USA ammunition, plane wreckage (from shot down American airplanes) and downed helicopter parts.Inside the museum there were many items which included small arms such as guns of all sizes and calibers, knifes, ammunition and a variety of other artifacts. All USA made of course. The most disturbing items in this museum, at least for me, were the numerous photographs which were hanging on the walls throughout. When you see photo's of American soldiers smiling and holding up their trophy's (being a couple of cut off heads of dead Vietnamese soldiers) that's enough to turn anyone right off.

Of course, that's the reality of war and I'm sure this kind of shit was done on both sides and probably even considered normal at the time, but, it's not the kind of thing I needed to be reminded of at the moment. I'd much rather be sitting in some bar with a couple sexy Vietnamese ladies on either side of me whispering sweet nothings in my ears!I'd seen enough so decided to try and look for this street which was selling antiques which a friend of mines had told me about. "Not only were there some great antiques for sale there", he had told me, "but there's also American war items which were left after the war for sale there". When the Yanks suddenly pulled out of Nam in 1975, apparently they left behind entire warehouses full of new and used military goods. My friend had actually bought a brand new Helicopter Pilots helmet (still wrapped in its original plastic)! I didn't actually see his supposed Helicopter Pilots helmet or know if he was kidding me or not but I definitely wanted to go find this place.

When I arrived there I did see a hell of a lot of antiques for sale, including US military stuff. I could handle being offered the assorted collection of old brass and stainless steel USA Zippo cigarette lighters but what was a bit disturbing to me were the numerous USA soldiers dog tags they were peddling. Why in the hell would I want to purchase an old dog tag? Especially if they were real.. and were taken off of dead US soldiers. Hell, some of them even appeared to still have blood stains of them so I had to tell them ?thanks but no thanks' to that offer. No, at the street I was on I definitely didn't see them selling anything as good as a Helicopter Pilots helmet so now I'm wondering whether my friend was pulling my leg or not.The following day as we flew out of Vietnam I just had to think once again how happy any soldier would have been to see that site and know he'd survived the jungle, the VC and most of all his commanding officer screaming in his ear everyday.

LOLWould I go back to Vietnam? Heck yes. I had a great time there and I'd recommend if for anyone who needs an adventurous place to go in Asia..

Or if you want to chill out, you can walk the beach, watch the sunrise, or enjoy a breathtaking sunset, or just explore the numerous nature trails. There's tons of opportunities to pick up souveniers along the way. There are outlet stores, an indoor mall and many local specialty shops. No vacation would be complete without checking out the local restaurants.

There are many locally owned restaurants as well as all of the national chain restaurants. The selection of food is excellent. From chicken fingers to filet mignon. Make sure to try the seafood, since much of it is locally caught, and therefore, extremely fresh! Right down the road (from Nags Head) is the town of Kill Devil Hills. You can easily spend a good half day here, without seeing all the sights.

This town became famous when the Wright Brothers made history when they flew the first airplane here in 1903. The Wright Brothers National Memorial is made of granite, rises 61 feet into the air and is the focal point of this town. A 314-acre national park honors this momentous event with a flight museum and an airstrip. Take one of the air tours of the Outer Banks. Its a spectacular, and exciting way to get a bird's eye view of these islands.

The Visitor's Center, is a gorgeous glass covered structure that showcases a replica of that simple canvas-covered 605-pound doubled-winged plane, which Orville Wright flew on that history-making day. Looking at it today, it's hard to imagine that it could even get off the ground. A popular attraction for kids and adults alike, is kite flying. One of the reasons the Wright Brtothers picked this area was because it is so windy. This makes for consistently soaring kite flying.

The Park Service supplies simple box kites and 20 feet of string. It's normal to see dozens of kids and adults (acting like kids) laughing and with huge smiles on their faces, with their own flying contraptions in a pleasant five mile an hour breeze. When you visit, be sure to make time for touring the various museum exhibits. You can even attend a ranger conducted program, take a tour of the reconstructed camp buildings and the first flight trail area, and climb up Kill Devil Hill to view the memorial pylon. Located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills offers residents and visitors alike, a unique and relaxing environment with plenty of fascinating, and fun things to see and do year-round..

Apart from the existing sections where people can browse nearly 3,000 currently available Bulgarian properties for sale there is now also a Bulgarian Property Rental section with more than 100 available properties and an Off Plan section where users can view nearly 400 new Bulgarian property developments for either investment or holiday home purposes. In addition to this there are comprehensive directories of Bulgarian Real Estate Agents and Lettings agencies and a guide to Bulgarian businesses based in Varna. This service is due to be expanded to other major regions of Bulgaria in due course. There is no doubt that My Bulgaria now has more property for sale or to let available in its pages than any other site on the internet in addition to comprehensive advice about Bulgaria as a country, its traditions and its culture. The Bulgarian property market has already witnessed some dramatic price increases in the last two years but even now property values remain lower than in neighboring countries and certainly much lower than the traditional hot spots of Spain and Portugal for example. The market is still in its early days and it is likely that further attractive gains will be made leading up to the envisaged accession of Bulgaria into the EU in 2007 and also at a more moderate pace following as the infrastructure of the country slowly improves. There is exceptional value in particular to be had away (if only slightly away) from these areas where both newly built or pre-existing housing stock can be purchased for substantially less and for as little as EUR 10,000. These types of property are tending to be purchased by families either for retirement or full time living purposes or by holidaymakers who are not so particular about having to be on top of the beach or ski slopes.About mybulgaria.infowww.mybulgaria.info, a subsidiary of Balkan Holdings Plc, is the UK's leading independent web portal that provides detailed information on Bulgaria as a country, an investment option for property and business or as a holiday destination. Over 100 leading Bulgarian real estate firms publish details of available properties and land on www.mybulgaria.info on a daily basis.

There are approximately 3,000 Bulgarian properties for sale currently and many Bulgarian properties available to rent. In addition, visitors to the website are also able to find information on the beach resorts, skiing facilities, climate, traditions and customs, history, employment and culture that Bulgaria has to offer.Visit www.mybulgaria.info for more information..
