Robert M. Clinger III of Myrtle Beach Announces Candidacy for Horry County Council District #2 Seat

Myrtle Beach, SC (ContentDesk) March 23, 2006 -- Robert M. Clinger III, co-founder of Highland Global, LLC, announced today that he has filed with the State of South Carolina to run as a Republican candidate for the Horry County Council District #2 seat.
The District #2 seat is being vacated by Mark Lazarus (R) of Myrtle Beach who is running against incumbent Liz Gilland (R) for the Chairman's seat of the Horry County Council. Mr. Clinger made the following statement as part of his announcement:It is a pleasure for me to announce that effective at noon today I am declaring my candidacy for the Horry County Council District #2 seat.

I made the decision to enter this race a few days ago, after consulting with my closest advisors who unanimously agreed that I can contribute a great deal of financial and economic knowledge and analysis to our leadership and a fresh perspective for strategic planning for the future.
I would like to assure the voters in District #2 that I am committed to exploring strategies that enable us to achieve maximum sustainable economic growth for the area and promote a pro business environment in order to attract more and better jobs while also making the necessary investments in our infrastructure to ensure continued improvement in the quality of life for our citizens.
I am confident that my background and experience in finance, economics, and strategic planning will be a valuable asset to the Horry County Council, particularly as we take a fresh look at the challenges we face for the future.

ClingerRobert M. Clinger III earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance, summa cum laude, from Coastal Carolina University in May 2000.
Mr. Clinger received the distinguished Presidents award from Coastal Carolina University as well as the Outstanding Student of Finance award.
In 2005, Mr.

Clinger earned the Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) designation from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).
In 2004, Mr. Clinger co-founded Highland Global, LLC a strategic advisory and financial analysis firm serving privately held and family controlled businesses both domestically and internationally.

First China Auto Museum Opening In September


China is just about to open its very first automobile museum this middle of September. And the Auto Collections from the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino here in the United States is going to be part of this significant event.

Auto Collections is going to be the only participant who will not be from China. And it would be doing this by shipping antique cars on loan to this Chinese auto museum. This auto museum in China is actually sponsored and has been prepared for by the country's own government.



From Las Vegas, there would be six vehicles which would be making the trip to Long Beach, California. And from there, they would be loaded on a cargo ship towards their destination ? Shanghai, China. It would take the vehicles some twenty four to complete the voyage to the Asian country.
